Meet Han: HandeoDesign Founder.

With over 25 years of experience, Han Min Lee, known simply as Han, has quietly become a respected leader in the field of User Experience Design (UED). His journey across global brands such as Dyson, Midea, and Samsung has been driven by a deep commitment to innovation, excellence, and creating meaningful user interactions.

Currently, Han serves as a Senior Manager - Experience Design Lead at Dyson, where he oversees the Global Commercial Design System and UX Front-end Enhancements in Malmesbury, UK. His thoughtful design leadership has played a crucial role in enhancing e-commerce strategies, leading to significant growth in customer engagement.

Han is dedicated to fostering a culture of creativity and innovation, always empowering his team to deliver user-centric design solutions.

Before joining Dyson, Han held key roles as the UX Innovation Expert - Head of UED at Midea Group in Guangdong, China, and as Principal Designer - Director of UX Innovation at Samsung Electronics in South Korea. At Midea, Han's inclusive approach to change management streamlined design processes, accelerating development and gaining wide acceptance within the company. At Samsung, his visionary work on the Family Hub™ refrigerator product line earned multiple international patents, design awards and helped solidify Samsung's leadership in smart home IoT technology.

Han's experience also includes impactful roles at Philips Design and Autodesk, where he contributed to UX innovations on a global scale.

His work has been recognised with several prestigious design awards, including the iF Award and IDSA Gold.

Educated at Birmingham City University with a First Class (HONS) BA in Visual Communication, specializing in Time-Based Media - Interactive Design, Han is fluent in English, Chinese, and Bahasa Malay. His career has been marked by a dedication to customer-centric, data-driven design strategies that align with business goals and elevate user satisfaction.

Since relocating to the UK in the autumn of 2023, Han has been captivated by the charm and heritage of the Cotswolds. Inspired by the timeless beauty of this quintessential English landscape, Han founded HandeoDesign, choosing to base his design boutique in the historic town of Malmesbury. Nestled in a community whose origins date back to the sixth century, Han draws endless inspiration from the cozy streets and traditional character of this ancient town.

Eager to connect with the vibrant design community in Southwest England, Han is committed to using his global experience to enrich the local design landscape.

He is passionate about mentoring young talent in the region, helping to nurture the next generation of designers.
